About Casablanca Airport
The Mohammed V/Casablanca (CMN) International Airport
is located in the Nouaceur suburb, near Casablanca. It
is ranked the busiest Morocco airport and year 2010

It was built by the United States during the Second
World War and its first name was Berrechid Airfield. The
US army used it as a military transport stopover
en-route. The civil government administrated the place
between 1945 and the 1950s. During the 1950s Cold war it
became base for the United States Air Force until 1963.
The airport has been renovated and enlarged and it is
still undergoing further modernization and expansion. It
has three terminals housing duty free shops, restaurants
and cafes. One information desk in the Arrivals and one
in the Departures are available. The airport ensures
disabled facilities (lifts and wheelchairs) as well as
